About These Terms

Our Role in a Roofing Job
Think of us as the front door and the switchboard. We listen to what is wrong with your roof, work out which independent roofing company in our network can reach you soonest and is suited to the work, and put the two of you in touch. We are a booking and matching service. We employ no roofers, own no scaffolding and do not carry out roofing work.
Who You Contract With
The roofing company we match you with is its own business, owned and run separately from ours. When you agree to its quote, the contract for the roofing is between you and that company. It surveys the roof, writes its own quote, does the work and sends you its own invoice. Any warranty on the work comes from that company and on its terms.
Money
We never collect payment for roofing and never issue an invoice for it. You settle with the partner company that did the work, in the way set out in its quote. If a bill looks wrong, speak to that company first.
Prices and Timings
The partner company decides what to charge, after it has seen the roof, and gives you the figure in writing before it starts. We do not set prices, and we do not promise a price or a time, on the phone or on this site. Where we mention typical London costs, they are indicative figures taken from published guides, not offers. Please read the written quote carefully and ask the partner to explain anything before you accept it.
When Things Go Wrong
Start with the partner company, since it did the work and can usually put it right fastest. If you are not getting anywhere, ring 07883 305739 and we will help chase the matter. We cannot guarantee how it ends, because the work and the contract belong to the partner, not to us.
Limits on What We Are Responsible For
We are responsible for taking your enquiry and arranging the match, and for nothing beyond that so far as the law allows. The quality, price, timing and conduct of the roofing work are the partner company's responsibility. Your rights as a consumer under UK law are untouched by these terms and cannot be removed by them.
What This Website Is and Is Not
The pages here describe our service and the districts we cover. They are general information, and they are not a survey, a diagnosis or a quote for your roof. That includes anything said about planning rules, conservation areas and building regulations, which you should confirm with the relevant council for your own address. Only the partner company's written quote, issued after its survey, gives you a firm price.
What We Do With Your Details
To arrange the match we pass your name, telephone number, address and a description of the problem to the partner company, so that it can contact you and book a survey. We use your details for that and to follow up if you get in touch about a finished job, and for nothing else.
Updating These Terms
We may revise these terms as the service develops. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you carry on using the site or service after a change, you accept the revised terms.
